The Gears 3 Beta – Video Overview

Having finally gotten around to playing the Gears 3 beta recently after having it sit tantalisingly in my Games tray for a while now, I’ll admit it’s certainly a step in the right direction. Weapons feel meatier (Some, like the sawn-off, to the point of being a bit unbalanced occasionally) and it’s great that you can finally tell your team-mates apart in the scrum.
Still though, I can’t help but feel like it’s more Gears 2.5 than a full sequel. Hopefully time will prove me wrong. It’s definitely fun though.
